Patchwork Diaper Bag

Well, this is the first bag I've made since the birth of my son. I still am getting used to saying "my son", it's great! This bag was ordered and paid for before he was born and the woman was so wonderfully patient with me in getting it done. I really appreciate that, Tiffany!

Rylan 3 Weeks Old

I just thought I'd share a recent picture of Rylan. He is changing so much already! Of course he gets cuter by the day.

It's A Boy!

Rylan Edward Turner was born on Thursday March 26th, 2009 at 5:16am, weighing 7lbs 10oz and was 21 inches long. He has a head of dirty blonde hair which was a surprise to me considering two of my girls were born with black hair and the other girl had barely any hair at all. I also was surprised that he was my smallest baby considering he was expected to be my biggest! It seems to crazy to hear myself say I have a son. I love it, though! He is definitely my little boy!

Pink Diaper Bag

I made this diaper bag some weeks ago but couldn't post it until the shower had passed. This is for Mel who is expecting her 2nd daughter in May. She picked out the pink spotted fabric from my stash and I found the matching stripe for the inside panel and straps. I love the way it turned out and I heard that Mel does, too!

Spring Is In The Air, at least for me...

I was so sick of my brown fall/winter bag so I went the other day for some spring fabric for myself. I made these two bags and have decided to use the second one, the patchwork. I'm so excited to use such a colorful and springy bag! As for the style of the first bag, I guess I would say it's like a Rebecca bag without the scoop and with a big flap.

Large Joanie Bag

This is the last bag from Mel's bag party in December that was ordered and paid for. It's a large Joanie Bag like the one I had done awhile back. I'm so thrilled to have all those bags done only because I don't know when this little guy will decide to come and I don't want to be in the middle of a bag when going in labor.

I do have a diaper bag ordered that I still have to do and then I'm taking a break from bag making while I anticipate the birth of my son.

Diaper Bag and Angie Bag

These fabrics must be a big hit because somebody really liked the diaper bag I finished last week so she ordered one for her friend who's having a baby this spring.



This Small Angie Bag was ordered at the bag party in December and I used the last of the zebra fabric that Donna had, I was lucky there was even enough. Now I only have one more pre-paid bag order to finish before this baby comes.
