Diaper Bag for Boy
I finally finished this bag today. It took me a few days but now it's done. This "boyish" diaper bag will be for sale at the Autumn Stroll along with the girly one that is in a past post and they are $55 each. My diaper bags have a wipes pocket, 2 inside bottle pockets, an inside cell phone pocket with flap and velcro closure and an outside bottle pocket. In the second picture, you can see all of these pockets filled but I had to use sippy cups since I don't have anymore bottles in the house but you get the idea. The diaper bags are pretty large, I'm not sure that you can see how truly large in the pictures so the measurements are approximately 17in. long by 12 1/2in. high. It's certainly a great size for all the stuff you have to cart around with an infant. You may be wondering why I didn't choose the typical "baby" fabric. That is because I wanted these bags to look like they could be used for a toddler as well as a baby or if you are going somewhere that you need to bring a bunch of stuff, you know, the just in case stuff, this bag could be used for that. So it is technically a diaper bag but could be used for other things as well.

The "No Name" Bag
Ok, All. I need your help. I came up with this bag myself after being disgusted with how the actual pattern came out. It originally was a Florida Bag but it didn't carry well at all, I was very disappointed but couldn't let this great fabric go to waste. So I ripped it apart and recreated it. Now it has no name. So I have come up with a few names for this bag and would like you all to vote on which name you like best for this bag. Vote by commenting to this post and tell me what your choice is. Thanks so much. I'll tally up the votes in a few days.
Name choices:
The City Bag
The Miah Bag (that's my middle daughter's name)
The Casey Bag
The Hexa Bag

Mini-Folio with Style
How cute is this bag! I had a few interested in seeing a brown and pink bag and after months of searching for fabric (go figure, nobody had brown and pink, seriously) I found some yesterday and fell in love! What do you think of the slanted flap? Comment and let me know. I was trying something new to add a little "style" and want to know what you all think. Comment away!

Ran out of thread!!
I seriously hate it when I run out of thread. I was working on a bag, a semi-new style, I'll call it the Mini-Folio and I only had a few more things to do until it was finished and then ran out of white thread! That really chaps my cheeks! Anyway, so I am off to Birkholders, an awesome fabric store in the middle of nowhere, with my kids and my Grandma (it ought to be interesting). I'd like to stock up on some fall prints, too, while I'm there. I can't believe that fall will be here before we know it. I'm ready to break out my jeans and smell that crisp Autumn air. It's my favorite season you know. Ok, enough about fall. Keep watching my blog for the finished Mini-Folio and also I finished a totally new style called the Florida Bag. Not too sure about though, I need opinions on that one so stay tuned for that one, too.

I will randomly pull one name from the list of people who comment to this post (if you were unable to comment before because you didn't have a google account, I have changed my settings so anyone may now comment) and that one gal will receive 20% off a bag that she purchases from me. There must be at least 10 comments to this post and you may only comment once. So please, tell your friends!! I will wait one week for all the comments. So on Monday the 13th of August, I will announce who's name has been called. Make sure you check back and see if it's you!!
